Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in television. De La Garza's parents were both Irish and Mexican American. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26 in 1976. It wasn't long before she relocated to Texas. In Texas, she embarked on a profession in the field of physical therapy. De La Garza didn't last for long in Texas then moved in Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities including local independent films and international commercials. Even the small roles did not stop her from discovering she was a fan of acting. She moved into New York and in 2001 she landed her first role in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000 she had small roles appearing on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first major series role in the drama The Mountain. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain was fortunate to have starred alongside many famous TV actors, such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was featured in 85 episodes. In the course of a limited time, her character moved over to Law & Order: LA. De La Garza has been nominated several times for her role as a character, and among them was Best Supporting Actress in Television in the Imagen Foundation Awards. The year 2008 was the time she won the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for her outstanding performances in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza got a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments after. She was cast as Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most current TV work was in NBC's dramatic dark show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After just two episodes it was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She was born Italian as well as having a 10-year-old younger brother named Cory. Milano was raised in the strict, religious home of her family. Milano began her acting career at the age of seven years old after her babysitter accompanied her at an audition. Her audition was among over 1000 hopefuls. She was selected as the only girl. Milano was featured in commercials both on Broadway and television as well, such as the American musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
